on March 5, 2018 by Jami Balmet 4 comments

I love reading good fiction books and series! But I know it can be hard to find good ones to read – especially for our kids!

I read all kinds of fiction, but I get asked all the time about my favorite Christian fiction books – so here are my top recommendations!

  1. Great list! Francine Rivers is wonderful and I totally agree with you on Ted Dekker. You should check out Chautona Havig. She writes all different genres and is always Christ-centered. Some hit on topics that might be too much for younger children but most are safe to be read out loud, especially her Not-So-Fairytales series.

  2. Have you read The Left Behind series? It’s amazing, 13 books, 3 prequel books. Smallest one is around 400 pages I believe. My husband and I can read about 2 a week.

  3. My current favorite author is Colleen Coble. It is historical fiction with romance and mystery in it. Most of the ones I have read so far are set between the late 1800s to early 1900s. I love how she infuses a relationship with God in each of her main characters. She has a lot to choose from too.
