Newborn Pictures {Malachi & Micah}

on February 11, 2013 by Jami Balmet 0 comments

Last month we shared that Jason and I welcomed twin baby boys into our home on December 26 at 4:19 am. The day after Christmas our world changed forever.

Our Twin Boys ~ A Biblical Marriage

Now as we approach them being 7 weeks old {where has the time gone??} we are finally starting to settle into a routine and life seems to be settling down. We are learning what it means to juggle two babies and reconnect after having them. I am trying to get into a routine to where I can focus more time and energy back on Jason and really date each other again.

We love our boys so much and are so happy with their name choices. It was really important to me to have strong Biblical names with great meanings. I have always loved the name Malachi and we knew we would name our second son Micah so when we found out it was twins we knew they were the perfect twin names!

Malachi

My Messenger or Messenger of God.

Micah

Who is like God? or Gift from God.

Their middle names have deep meaning for our family as well. My father has a twin brother who passed away when they were 17. It was a very tragic accident and one that has hung with the family for all these years. So when I found out that I was having twin boys {the next pair in the family after my Dad and my uncle} I just knew that I had to use their names. So my father’s name is Randall and his twin was named Richard. So we have Malachi Richard and Micah Randall. Their names hold such deep and rich meaning for our family.
