20+ Homemade Christmas Gift Basket Ideas for under $15

on November 5, 2013 by Jami Balmet 0 comments

I love making things homemade. There is just something about taking the time to think of the perfect present for your friends and family and then putting it together with your own hands!

20+ Homemade Christmas Gift Basket Ideas

The beauty of our online world now is that you can make amazing gift baskets that are perfect for the homemakers in your life with a few simple items and an eBook!

The Basics of Making Homemade Gift Baskets

Homemade gift basics can be one of the most thoughtful and fun presents to give! Here are a few steps to get you started.

1) Head to your local thrift store and look for cute baskets and boxes that you can put your presents into. Get things fun and creative. For example, find a vintage watering can to put the gift basket items for a gardening basket.

2) Put some thought into it and really select a gift basket that is perfect for the person you are making it for. My sister loves baking and is always trying to figure out how to make healthier treats, so a baking and tea gift basket is perfect for her!

3) Make it personal! Make sure to include a hand written note telling that person who much they mean to you! Pick out the perfect tea pot with their favorite color. Print out the pregnancy journal and make a personalized binder to put it in.

4) Don’t break the bank. Something wonderful about making homemade gifts is that you can often make meaningful and fun gifts that are not very expensive! Get creative with how you give the present and remember – you don’t have to spend a lot of money to tell that person you care.

5) Have fun and get started!!
