Why Easter is a Time of Celebration

Please join me as I journey through Scripture in this week leading up to Easter.

Easter is a time of Celebration but many do not realize this. Many flock to church on Easter Sunday not really knowing why they are there.

Sure, many recognize that it’s about Christ’s death but they don’t understand that it’s really about a Celebration.

To fully understand why Easter is a time of Celebration we must go a little journey. Throughout this journey I will look at the beautiful promises of the coming Messiah in the Old Testament and the culmination of those promises in the New Testament. Then finally we will look at His death and Resurrection and the future promise of our own Resurrection into eternal new life with Him.

Why Easter is a Time of Celebration
How do I know this? Because I didn’t truly understand this until recently. Please join me as I journey through the Bible starting with the Old Testament and I’ll make my way to the New Testament.
