Help for the Overwhelmed Homemaker

on May 1, 2013 by Jami Balmet 0 comments

Being a homemaker is a tough job. We daily wear 50 different hats and must work really hard to glorify God in our homemaking.

“Homemaking is not employment for slothful, unimaginative, incapable women. It has as much challenge and opportunity  success and failure, growth and expansion, perks and incentives, as any corporate career.” ~ The Christian Homemaker’s Handbook Pg 21

Being a homemaker is a tough job. We daily wear 50 different hats and must work really hard to glorify God in our homemaking. It can be so difficult yet it's also the most important role in our life. We are wives and mothers and God has given us this special responsibility. Are you taking time to grow as a homemaker?

Some days seem overwhelming! The dirty laundry piles up, dirty dishes litter the kitchen, the kids are crying and it’s 4pm yet again and you have no clue what to make for dinner.

Homemaking can be so difficult yet it’s also the most important role in our life. We are wives and mothers and God has given us this special responsibility. Are you taking time to grow as a homemaker?

Help for the Overwhelmed Homemaker

Homemaking can be difficult and time consuming so we could all use a little help once in a while.  Here are a few resources that can help you be a better & more organized homemaker!

31 Days to Clean by Sarah Mae

31 Days to CleanI’m sure you’ve seen this best selling book around by Sarah Mae. I purchased the book back when it first came out and have loved going through it. Like Sarah Mae, I am not in love with cleaning. I would rather cook the meal then clean the dishes!

Sarah takes you through 31 days, step by step, of how to get more organized and keep it that way!! She provides a lot of encouragement as she is not one of those cleaning gurus but rather someone who knows what its like to loathe cleaning. A must read for any homemaker who is struggling to keep her home clean!

Become a Frugalista in 30 Days by The Confident Mom

Become a Frugalista in 30 Days or less!

I love everything from The Confident Mom! I have her planner and have loved reading through her new book on becoming a frugalista! This eBook goes into details such as how to make a budget and even tips for selling on craiglist and eBay!

If you are looking for some ways to find money in your current budget or add some extra cash here and there, then this eBook is for you!

Getting It Together by Kaysee Pratt

Getting it together!

Making a home management binder was one of the best things I did when I first got married! It helped me to get SO organized but I spent hours and hours on the internet trying to figure out how to put one together and even then it was hard.

Kaysee has put it all together for you in this great resource! If you are having trouble getting organized and on top of your homemaking, then pick up this eBook and make a homemaking binder…right now!!

Personal ePlanner by List PlanIt

PERSONAL_ePlanner

List PlanIt is another one of my favorite resources! They make so many helpful lists. This ePlanner is interactive which means that you can actually type right into the planner! It’s a great way to get organized.

It’s a fun way to organize things like your bucket list, books to read, craft supply inventory, exercise goals and more!

I really could just keep highlighting the resources that are in The Ultimate Homemakers eBook Bundle because these are just 4 of 97 resources meant to help you streamline your job as a homemaker! Check out the rest of the bundle HERE!

I will leave you with this beautiful quote from The Christian Homemaker’s Handbook
